Responsibilities

  • Operate power presses, plate rolls, brakes, and computer numerically controlled equipment to bend, roll, ream or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products.
  • Assembles parts and/or subassemblies to form products using fixtures, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Box and labels parts ensuring usage of proper labels. Pack parts ensuring proper labels are affixed to the shipping carton.
  • Read and understand how to use measuring devices such as calipers and tape measures.
  • All duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Experience using calipers
  • Manufacturing experience required
  • Good hand and eye coordination
  • Must be able to maintain steady pace throughout the day
  • Must be able to meet production standards
  • Must have flexibility in work schedule
  • Must be able to meet attendance standards

  • Plans and executes assignments using machine tools ranging from lathes to milling machines
  • May operate computer console/computer-controlled machine
  • Utilizes precision measuring instruments to check accuracy of work
  • Requires machine shop training in mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties and layout and machining procedures

Qualifications

  • Proficient use of hand and power tools.
  • Experience using calipers and micrometers.
  • Experience running manufacturing machinery (i.e. Roll Mill, Press Machine, etc.).
  • Experience setting up machinery.

Position: Full time, Hourly

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7A-3:30P with OT as needed

Salary: $22-27 per hour plus OT, as needed (non-exempt)

$50 weekly gas stipend through August

Responsibilities:

  • Locate and resolve the source of problems by observing machines in operation
  • Repair gear boxes, clutch and brake assemblies, press ram assemblies etc.
  • Fabricate rails, machine guards and various other items
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions with multi-meters and other test instruments
  • Assist in rebuilding production support equipment
  • Participate in the installation of new equipment
  • Perform all other duties assigned

Requirements:

  • 2 Years of fabrication experience in an industrial environment
  • 3 years repairing and maintaining industrial machinery and support equipment
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical components
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects effectively
  • Ability to work occasional overtime to accommodate the needs of production

Desired Experience:
