Principle Duties (includes, but is not limited to)

  • Support all activities and control of the financial management including, but not limited to safeguarding assets, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, self-audit procedures, financial controls, applicable laws and regulations, working capital management, accounting, treasury and credit compliance.
  • Guarantee the accuracy of the accounting and financial information
  • Assist in managing all treasury functions and CAPEX financing.
  • Ensure the budgetary and cost control of all plants
  • Assist and perform Month, Quarterly and Yearly Close process
  • Record Journal Entries and Reconcile Balance Sheet Accounts
  • Assist in the Month End Financial reporting packages
  • Partner operational managers to determining financial soundness of strategic decisions and utilize metrics to drive improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Provide metric reporting to align with KPIs of the business
  • Work with Operations to provide financial education to the plant financial statements
  • Support the Year End Audit process
  • Support and back up the functional areas of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Ensure regulatory, tax and banking requirements are met in a timely fashion
  • Provide detailed analysis of gross margin and throughput on manufacturing lines
  • Identify and analyze the variances between the forecasted and actual results
  • Work with Procurement to follow-up on raw material and vendor issues
  • Validate the economic justification of investments and ensure their follow-up.
  • Assist in developing plant budgets and associated forecasts, as well as plant reporting in accordance with procedures and deadlines
  • Propose recommendations that align with the company’s financial strategy
  • Participate in the development of action plans and ensure their financial evaluation and follow-up
  • Support plant operations in safeguarding physical inventories by participating in physical inventory counts and maintaining proper controls over inventory
  • Help establish strong internal controls around safeguarding company assets.
  • Monitor operating cash flow by managing receivables, payables and inventories
  • Provide backup support to the Corporate Controller in times of absence
  • Various Ad-Hoc financial analysis as requested
  • Work closely with the Controller and CFO to support business needs

Skills:

  • Excellent tenure
  • SAGE 100 experience preferred
  • Bachelors in Accounting or Finance required
  • CPA or CPA track preferred
  • Master’s Degree preferred

Experience:

Tool and Die Maker – 2nd shift

  • Analyze specifications, lay out metal stock, set up and operate machine tools, and
    fit and assemble parts to make and repair dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges,
    and machinist’s hand tools.
  • Performs assignments that range from the use of ordinary tool room operations to
    work involving accurate relationships and extremely close tolerances.
  • Makes allowances for shrinking during heat treating of tools metal flow in dies.
  • Identifies and corrects problems in complicated dies and tools.
  • Conduct test runs with completed tools or dies to ensure that parts meet
    specifications; make adjustments as necessary.
  • Cut, shape, and trim blanks or blocks to specified lengths or shapes, using power
    saws, power shears, rules, and hand tools.
  • File, grind, shim, and adjust different parts to properly fit them together.
  • Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools,
    using machine tools and hand tools.
  • Inspect finished dies for smoothness, contour conformity, and defects.

  • Position hours are typically:

Tool and Die Technician

Responsibilities

  • Builds, repairs and modifies all types, sizes and shapes of metalworking dies, cutting tools, jigs and fixtures, gauges and machinists’ hand tools. •Assembles and conducts tests of complex tools on manufacturing equipment. 
  • Applies knowledge of tool and die design and construction, shop mathematics, metal properties, and layout, machining and assembly procedures.
  • Studies specs such as blueprints, sketches, models or descriptions and visualizes product to determine materials required and machines to be used to fabricate parts.
  • Computes dimensions plans layout and determines assembly method and sequence of operation.
  • Verifies dimensions, alignments and clearances using measuring instruments such as dial indicators, gauge blocks, thickness gauges and micrometers. 
  • May examine standard or previously used dies, tools and jigs and fixtures and recommend modifications regarding construction and function of part.
  • Heat-treat and weld parts as required.

Core Competencies

  • Must be a journeyman tool and die maker or complete a formal apprenticeship program or have sufficient experience in the field.
  • Must possess a high degree of precision and control in work.
  • Must give the high degree of attention and care required to prevent injury to self and other when operating machine tools.
  • Must be able to complete all required paperwork
  • Must be able to read and understand work instructions
  • Must be skilled in the use of hand measuring equipment.

Required experience: 5+ Years on the job experience preferred.

Education required: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Journeyman Tool and Die Maker Certification.

Physical demands: Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, occasional lifting weights to 35lbs. Ability to move around manufacturing floor.

Process Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support to production to solve roll forming and stamping process issues.
  • Must be willing to do whatever it takes (while maintaining safety) to get production lines going
    in emergency situations.
  • Lead new tooling trials through production ramp up.
  • Complete line speed and process improvement projects that lead to greater efficiencies.
  • Work with Tool & Die Department to solve repetitive tooling issues.
  • Work with the Quality department to resolve product quality related issues.
  • Select required equipment for new manufacturing lines (roll forming, stamping, etc.).
  • Complete various continuous improvement projects as needed.
  • Must be willing to be hands-on whenever necessary.

Skills Required

  • Strong roll forming knowledge. Ability to solve setup and tooling issues.
  • Strong knowledge of pre-punch, cut-off and progressive dies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues related to dies.
  • Ability to revise tools as needed and update tooling drawings.
  • 2D/3D CAD skills
  • Strong knowledge of roll forming mills, stamping presses, and related ancillary equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of machine controls and industrial electrical circuits.
  • Experience with SMED (setup time reduction) is a plus.
  • PLC experience a plus.
